7th World Ayurveda Congress & Arogya Expo 2016
The 7th World Ayurveda Congress and AROGYA Expo, opens yet another window to a healthier future. The previous editions of WAC, held at Cochin,Pune, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Bhopal and Delhi, had witnessed a highly welcoming response. The highest number of delegates, numbering more than 4200 attended the WAC at Bengaluru. The largest number of visitors who participated in the AROGYA Expo was at Pune where more than 500,000 individuals took advantage of the Forum. The highest number of foreign delegates numbering 264 attended the Bengaluru Congress.
The 7th WAC, scheduled be held at Science Centre, Kolkata from 1 - 4 December, has further fanned the expectations of stakeholders, Ayurveda practitioners and enthusiasts. Anticipating a huge response, the WAC Secretariat has made a booking for the venue through the Science City authorities.
Well, mere numbers do not make up the whole story, yet they speak volumes about the
significance and magnitude of an event. The 7th WAC will hold 5 plenary sessions, 25 parallel sessions and a huge number of paper presentations, complemented by a series of associated events. Welcome, one and all!
