ACTMET (Action for Conservation and Trade of Medicinal and Economic Trees), an offshoot of Vijnana Bharati, in association with the National Medicinal Plant Board and the Indian Council for Forestry Research and Education, will organize a global-level forum to discuss the following themes.

  • Mass afforestation of rare and endangered medicinal trees of economic importance
  • Organic forestry and agri-horticulture of medicinal plants
  • Regularization of trade of botanical raw drugs by large-scale cultivators
