As a run-up to the 4th WAC in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in December 2010, the Organising Committee has been conducting national and international 2-day satellite seminars at different locations. Besides generating general awareness about the Congress, these seminars introduce new concepts along with the basic philosophy to students and give them an opportunity to present research papers.

Out of 10 such national seminars planned, 6 have been successfully completed in Patna (Bihar), Bathinda (Punjab), Agartala (Tripura), Guwahati (Assam), Bhubaneswar (Orissa), and Raipur (Chhattisgarh). More such seminars are coming up in the next few months. Over 2500 students are expected to participate in these satellite seminars before the 4th WAC.

As for international satellite seminars, Baden Baden (Germany) witnessed one in October 2009, in which Mr S Gandhiselvan, Hon’ble Union State Minister for Health and Family Welfare, and Ms S Jalaja, IAS, Secretary, Department of AYUSH were present. The second international satellite seminar will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in August 2010.
